Driving Courses Intensive courses are mainly suited to local students or someone who does not require accommodation. Residential courses are ideal for anyone throughout the UK who can travel to Clacton and need bed & breakfast accommodation. Please ensure you have passed the theory test and you meet the current eyesight checks before you consider one of our courses. A 25% deposit is required for intensive and residential bookings, the balance to be paid in cash to your instructor on the first day of tuition. Tuition times will be agreed verbally between the pupil and instructor. In the unfortunate event that you do not reach the required safety standard to take a practical driving test, instructors have the right to refuse you the use of their vehicle to take your test. The instructor will give a full explanation if this is the case. In the event of a mechanical failure of the instructor’s car or for any other reason that the instructor is unable to substitute another instructor for a specific course - re-arrangement of the course may be necessary. If your test is cancelled by the DSA because of bad weather etc, no refund will be given, however the DSA will book you another test free of charge. Once all monies have been paid no refunds will be given. Any abusive, offensive or other such conduct will not be tolerated and your course may be terminated without notice. Special offers These offers apply to local students only. The 1st 2hrs to be taken as a 2hr lesson. If you decide to book a block of 10 lessons they must be completed in 12 weeks or less.
Cancellations If you need to cancel a driving lesson please ensure you provide us with 24hrs notice as full payment will be charged.
